As Saturday approached I checked the weather, what felt like 100 times. The chance of rain continually increased each day. I woke up on Saturday morning thrilled that the chance of rain had decreased tremendously!
Kaitlyn and the girls were at the hotel getting ready when we arrived. I think at this point, Kaitlyn was so excited to be married nothing could damper her day!
If you follow my work, you know that I LOVE starting the wedding day shooting details. I was amazed that Kaitlyn already had an area all ready for me to shoot her wedding details! I started with her heels, which again if you follow me you know I love sparkly heels! Then I got to move on to her ring, and it is insane! Andrew has such good taste!
The morning of the wedding ran so smoothly, all the girls were so helpful. Little did I know that I had yet to meet the man behind the wedding day! Kaitlyn’s best friend also known as the “Man of Honor” was incredible the entire wedding day! If he had a planning/coordination business he would be my go-to person!! I cannot stress enough how fabulous he was!
As we arrived at the capital, I was so stressed as the clouds began to turn gray. I kept praying that the sun would come back and the gray skies leave! Thankfully, the rain somehow held off the entire day!
We were so blessed with good weather, good company, and a little excitement from a recent announcement from Kaitlyn and Andrew. The entire day was perfect. I can’t wait for Kaiyltn and Andrew to meet their little bundle of joy as they celebrate their life together. They are two special people.
