Tyler + Kristin

I have been waiting for this wedding all year long. Both Tyler and Kristin are so special to me. I got to shoot his sister’s wedding, Samantha, earlier this year, so it was an absolute honor to add these two to the MKP Tribe.
I have always had very organized Brides over the years. Some so thoughtful that as I arrived for the ‘details’ photos, they already had a lay flat ready. When I arrived at the Bridal Suite, Kristin was more prepared than I anticipated. She had everything labeled, organized, and put together so perfectly; I had no trouble finding the items I needed.
The getting ready portion of the day was one of my favorites this year. I loved that Samantha and the girls were right there whenever she needed them. In one of the photos, Kristin is smiling at something Samantha said. It made the best photos!
Kristin’s theme was boho which, of course, I LOVE. Let me just add, her flowers were insane! This is the first time I have worked with Cottage Way Florals, but I was completely blown away by her flowers! I am sure you can tell by the photos that I loved them. We included them in as many photos as we could.
I love when weddings are emotional. They are so good for the soul. Tyler held back tears both when he read the letter as well as when he saw his Bride at the first look. Kristin was calm as a cucumber and just smiled the entire day. I loved the sweet face she made every time Tyler looked into her eyes!
First looks are so wonderful for wedding days. It allows for a relaxed, slow-paced day. The intimacy of the first look is what makes it a favorite for Bride and Grooms. Tyler and Kristin smiled at each other, laughed, and wiped tears as they were about to become husband and wife.
Another bonus of the first look is we had not one, not two, but three different times we were able to take portraits of just the two of them!
I had such a hard time choosing my favorites for this wedding. I culled through this twice trying to choose the very best to share. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn’t cut down on the images. So here we are with one of the LARGEST previews I have posted to date. I don’t regret it one bit. I love this couple so much and I love these images so why not share them with the world<3
