I have been excited for this wedding all year! Sarah is one of the most good-natured women I have ever met; she has a sweet soul. I didn’t know her before her Wedding Consultation but I am so glad God sent her my way!
Upon arrival at The Gaines Estate, I was thrilled with how organized and speedy the staff was! Usually, when it comes to wedding photography all the little details are done last minute so we need to wait to photograph all the “pretties” of the day. Even though we arrived 45 minutes before the contracted time, it was ready! The Owners are wonderful to work with! The Estate features so much natural light in both the venue areas. They went with a neutral aesthetic for the property and it is stunning!
Upon arrival at the Bridal Suite, Sarah was as cool as a cucumber! So relaxed but elated! And let me mention she was absolutely STUNNING! Her maid-of-honor was a perfect gem all day long. She was by Sarah’s side all day for anything and everything she needed. Ashley was also incredibly helpful for Alissa and me while we were shooting. Soooo Ashley if you are reading this you are the MVP! 😉
The day started off cloudy, I continually prayed for sunshine throughout the day. We had a couple of little tiffs of rain but nothing that stopped us from all the beautiful wedding photos. I nestled Matt and Sarah under a tree to get some coverage from the rain, the magic started there. You can see how smitten Matt is with Sarah. When I say he lovers her, you can see he REALLY loves her!
Sarah’s smile is so contagious, I don’t think you could be around her and not smile! She was such a timeless and elegant bride; Matt was a dream groom, always agreeable. I am so thankful I was able to be their wedding photographer and share in such an amazing day. I pray God continues to send me such amazing couples to work with.
