Have you ever doubted yourself, or wonder if you did a good enough job? I know I have; I think it is just the human in us. This was that season in life for me. I had fewer weddings this year than in previous years. So many Brides that waited until 2020 to get married.
My 2020 is almost fully booked and has been for some time. The human in me took the fact that 2019 was a slower year for me personally. This is silly because I booked these weddings, they just wouldn’t take place until this year. I think instead of looking at the big picture I allowed the devil to get into my ear.
Today I had an epiphany. Sitting here as I chose the BEST images of 2019 and had so many I couldn’t decide which to choose. I may have not had the busiest year as in the past, but I had an incredibly BLESSED year! I had so many amazing Brides that I connected with, to this day we are still FRIENDS!
I photographed weddings that some would dream of having. I had several Brides that used most their budget just so I could be a part of their wedding; that means something to me. I can’t fathom the fact they think that highly of me. These are the best images I believe I have taken. Silly me didn’t focus on the big picture but GOD still blessed me. He blessed my business, my Brides, and my future.
A wise man told me to pray for the Brides that are right for me and I will continue to do that until the day I retire. I cannot hold in the excitement that is to come in 2020. I am so excited for the new memories I am going to make, and to celebrate with some more amazing Brides.
