Ciera truly has a heart of gold. Every time I get to shoot her she is a joy. I think we talk as much as we shoot! Taking her photos is more like hanging out with a friend. I started with Ciera’s senior photos just a couple of years ago and now we are headed to her wedding. When she had the idea to take her fall engagement photos at Stonewall Resort, Stone Wall State Park in Roanoke West Virginia I was excited. My husband and I try to visit every year, it is one of our favorite places.
I have to brag on her fiance Ricky. He had actually just broken his foot days prior to their fall engagement session. You won’t see it in the photos but he was on crutches. Ricky was all bout making the photos perfect for Ciera, he didn’t complain one time.
Ciera and Ricky even brought their little pup along for the fun. He has the cutest bandanna around his neck to show off the engagement. As much fun as I have at their engagement sessions I cant wait to see what fun we are going to have at their wedding in just a few short months. I am counting down the days to May<3

My work has been featured in Magnolia Rouge, Cake & Lace, and other fine publications, but my favorite measure of success is still a bride who says she forgot I was even there.
