Kathleen and Matt’s wedding took place at Saint Francis De Sales Church, in Beckley WV. If you aren’t familiar with the church it is absolutely stunning! It is truly a beautiful piece of history. My favorite part of the wedding was when Kathleen’s dad and brother saw her for the first time; it was such a sweet moment. I saved those photos just for them though. They are so special I wanted them to see them first<3
I love wedding details, but what I love, even more, are creative wedding details. The Grooms ring was made by Rustic and Main in Charlotte NC. It is made from a WWII Springfield 1903 Rifle stock (wood) with Wool from an infantry field shirt. Now that is a story in itself! How awesome is that!? Then to make things more fun Bev (Oxley) has made every cake for Kathleen since her first birthday so it was only fitting that she make her wedding cake.
