Ryan and Sophie have such a similar story to my husband & I. Dating after High School, the military, the marriage, & then moving away to be with your love. It is such simple but beautiful love story. It is actually a love story most wish to have.
When I first met Sophie at their engagement session, I didn’t realize how similar our stories were. I was quit shocked to be honest. At the same time I was so excited. The military life isn’t for the faint of heart by any means, but in return it provides a unique and fun live style experience.
At the engagement session I could tell Ryan was smitten over Sophie. Usually men aren’t “thrilled” at the thought of a photography session but Ryan was all about making Sophie happy. The wedding day you ask? The SAME! It was all about making her happy.
My favorite part of the wedding day was when Ryan came to the bottom of the stairs to speak to Sophie (not seeing her of course) and Sophie shouts (I can’t remember it exactly) “You better cry because I look good!” I mean how can you not laugh at that! His cheeks flushed red as he smiled from ear to ear. & incase you are wondering, she looked absolutely Gorgeous! I mean stunning! Her baby blues shined as she smiled the entire day long!
The wedding took place at the Glade Creek Farm https://www.facebook.com/gladecreekfarm/ It is a beautiful venue, so quiet and peaceful. The owners are absolutely fabulous! They are kind and laid back. The my favorite part was that the entire wedding the staff is there to help. That in itself allows the day run more smoothly.
From the moment I arrived to the time I left I felt like I was among friends. It seemed less like work and more like fun. I am so excited for these two and I pray that they have many years of happiness.
